Last week, we caught up with one our retailers in Boulder, Colorado, Aspen Eyewear. Aspen Eyewear is a third generation family-owned, family-operated optical store in Boulder.
They have been serving eyewear customers for over 50 years. Aspen Eyewear is known for their speedy service, excellent customer service, and friendly home like office aura. These top-notch qualities have allowed Aspen Eyewear to be voted Best of Boulder by the Daily Camera every year.
Although their office is always full of customers Jen Ebner, the owner of Aspen Eyewear, took some time out of her demanding schedule to answer a few questions for us.
Q: What is the best thing about your career?A: Personally, I gotten to work with my father for the last 20 years. But also being an optician is rewarding because you get to help people with their eyesight.
Q: What is the biggest challenge to your business?A:Competing with eyewear that is sold on the internet.
Q: What is the greatest opportunity for your business?
A: Showing the consumer that customer service is important.
Q: How has E-commerce changed your business?
A: Trying to help the consumer with glasses that they purchased that don't work.
Q: What advice would you give small business owners?
A: Customer Service is definitely the key to success.
Q: How has Chemistrie Blue helped your consumers?
A: It has reduced eye fatigue for everyday activities and computer users.
Q: Where do you see the market for blue light glasses in 3 years?
